Random sh*t.....

Hello. Well, only 92 days til my baby boy and I board a plane and head to the East Coast!!! Woo-hoo!
Looks like I might be making more than one road trip between Boston and DC. Yay traffic!!!! (sad what being stuck in the middle of nowhere does to a person). My best friend is moving into a house this weekend and wants us to stay there for a few days. I really miss her. I can't wait for our sons to meet!!!!!
Hell, I can't wait for my son to meet the rest of his family!!!

In other news, the BRAC Commission voted to turn Cannon into an "enclave" (Well, community, YOU got screwed). Basically we'll all be gone, and the base will sit "mothballed" until a new mission is found. I could give a shit less what they do with it, as long as we're outta here!!!! That being said, no one has a definitive time line so I put in for the Azores. It's a 24 month remote (but I can take Brady~boo) and then I'll get a choice of where I go afterwards. There's ALWAYS at least 2 of my choices on the overseas returnee list, so that's cool. I just want to get back East and raise my munchkin around family!!!!Hope to hear something by Nov/Dec.

Brady will be 8 months old this month. I cannot believe how time flies!! He is crawling all over and with some pretty good speed. I am pretty sure he'll be walking by the time we go home; he's already pulling up on stuff and standing!! He is too funny, and into everything and I LOVE IT!!!! :)
